A new web site is under reconstruction which should be up shortly On May 29, 2009 the former Texas State Guard Association Trust name was changed to the Texas State Guard Nonprofit Association. The Non Profit received notice from the IRS recognizing it as a 501 (c) (3). Contributions now are deductible under section 270 of the Code. The Non Profit is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devisees, transfer or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
